No Conclusions: Write Your Artist Statement is a zine I wrote after conducting research and interviews with grant reviewers, curators, festival organizers, poets, and artists of many mediums. I had been writing artist statements for a year, and noticed that clients only came to me for help when they were desperate and anxious. I was happy with the work but also wanted to help my clients address the root cause of that anxiety and procrastination. From the feedback I've received so far, this zine does just that. It is aimed at emerging artists and heavily features the voices of women, femmes, and LGBTQ individuals.
